Background
Arthur Lapon is the Founder and President of ADL Consulting Services, Inc.- The business resource center for the Commercial Coin and Card Laundry Industry.
A graduate of Boston University, as well as Boston University’s Executive Management Program, Arthur has been in corporate business and manufacturing management in the Space, Defense, and Computer Industries.
Arthur has personally been involved in both owning and operating a restaurant, marketing company, real estate business, as well as coin laundries.
In the past 20 years, Arthur has been instrumental in the Design, Construction, Remodeling, Sale and Purchase of over 400 Coin Laundry and Card Laundry Stores. “Through these years we have developed a great resource of Consultants, Contractors, Architects, and Distributors that provide proven expertise in all phases of our Client’s needs, with the objective of assisting them down the long path of acquiring and operating a successful Laundromat business.”

Arthur has been instrumental in changing the commercial laundry industry from the old style, small, and limited service neighborhood Laundromat to what is now a long and very successful series of small, medium, large and 10,000 square foot mega-laundries that offer to its customers a menu of services, including Self-Service, Drop-Off Laundry, Drop-Off Dry Cleaning, Commercial Laundry Services, a full complement of retail sales of washing products, as well as food, snacks, drinks, internet-café, video games, free Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, multiple large screen televisions, music, as well as experienced, friendly and helpful employees who not only take care of customer’s needs and questions but who also keep the stores clean and organized. Which in turn has created a pleasant environment for all of its customers. Bringing the Commercial Laundry industry out of the 20th century and into the 21st century of full service stores that meet the laundry needs of families in all walks of life.
With the widespread availability of high-speed broadband internet service, Arthur has been able to offer his clients the opportunity to own and operate the Cashless, Card Laundry store that utilizes both Debit and Credit Cards that can operate all of the store’s Washers and Dryers. Card laundries also offer the owner the advantage of having all the store’s goods and services purchased with debit or credit cards which minimizes the opportunity for lost income.
